Tourism sector and assets protection
Tourism is a key growth sector. The LDP will safeguard the Borough's important tourism assets and accommodate opportunities for new sustainable tourism proposals.
Tourism is a key growth sector within the Borough's economy. The quality of tourism attractions, facilities and accommodation is integral to the performance of this sector and the delivery of the Council's Tourism Strategy. Planning has an important role to play in ensuring that our Borough's most important tourism assets are safeguarded and that opportunities for new sustainable tourism proposals are accommodated.
