Line of sight on ramps
Ramps without a clear line of sight between top and bottom landings must be divided into two ramps with an intermediate landing of at least 1800 mm length and width to serve as a passing place.
Where a ramp does not have a clear line of sight between its top and bottom landings, it should be divided into two ramps such that there is a clear line of sight between the intermediate landing and the top and bottom landings.
The intermediate landing should have an unobstructed length of not less than 1800 mm, and a surface width of not less than 1800 mm. This will allow enlarged landings to be used as passing places.
