Buffer landscape wedges and open areas
The Council protects landscape wedges and open areas adjacent to settlements to maintain separate identities of settlements and prevent urban coalescence.
The Council will identify the location and precise boundaries of Local Landscape Policy Areas within and adjoining settlements in the Local Policies Plan.
