Employment land and premises protection
Employment land and premises are essential for economic prosperity. The LDP will identify a range of suitable employment opportunities and provide strong protection for strategically important employment and business sites from loss to other uses.
Employment land and premises are essential to the future economic prosperity and growth of our Borough. The identification of a wide range of suitable opportunities is therefore a key role for the LDP and will support the Council's Economic Strategy. In addition, it is important that those employment/business sites that perform a strategic function are given strong protection from being lost to other development uses.
