Flanking transmission and wall linings in conversions

Extensive remedial work including wall linings may be necessary to reduce flanking sound transmission and achieve the required performance standards set out in Table 1a, as detailed in Section 4 paragraphs 4.42 and 4.43.

Extensive remedial work to reduce flanking transmission may also be necessary to achieve the performance standards set out in Table 1a of the section entitled "Guidance - Performance and introduction to provisions". This may involve wall linings, see Section 4: Junction requirements for material change of use, paragraphs 4.42 and 4.43.
