Floating floors - general composition

Floating floors consist of a floating layer and resilient layer that work together to reduce sound transmission. The components must be properly installed with appropriate gaps and sealants to maintain acoustic performance.

The floating floor consists of a floating layer and resilient layer (see Diagram 3.11).
