Plan Vision for 2030
The Plan Vision describes how Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough should develop by 2030, focusing on creating an excellent, attractive, and diverse place with improved opportunities, sustainable development, and high-quality built and natural environments.
In 2030 Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough will have a reputation as an excellent, attractive and diverse place in which to live and work. It will be a place that all citizens can take pride in and that is appealing to new residents, investors and visitors alike, with improved job opportunities, housing availability and connectivity that meets the needs of our community. Development will be sustainable and of high quality and will address the ongoing challenges of climate change. Our built and natural environment will continue to be of high quality and well looked after and will support prosperity and economic development and provide for a wide range of recreational and leisure activities. In summary Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough will be: A Place of Economic Opportunity; A Vibrant and Liveable Place; A Place with a Sustainable Future.
