Minimum mass requirement where separating floor is present
When a separating floor is also present, the minimum mass per unit area requirement of 120 kg/m² (excluding finish) always applies, even for separating wall types 2.1, 2.3 or 2.4.
Where there is also a separating floor then the requirement for a minimum mass per unit area of 120 kg/m2 excluding finish should always apply, even when wall type 2.1, 2.3 or 2.4 is used.
