Waste Water Treatment Capacity
NI Water operates waste water treatment works in the Borough, with Cranfield and Moneyglass at full capacity and Whitehouse approaching capacity at 10% population growth.
The provision of waste water treatment within the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough is the responsibility of NI Water. NI Water has identified that Cranfield and Moneyglass Waste Water Treatment Works (WWTW) have no remaining capacity. Whitehouse WWTW will reach capacity with a 10% growth rate in population.
