Sound insulation in schools - Building Bulletin 93 compliance
Regulation 52 requirements for sound insulation in schools are met by demonstrating compliance with the values for sound insulation, reverberation time, and indoor ambient noise specified in Section 1 of Building Bulletin 93: Acoustic Design of Schools.
It is the view of the Department that the requirements of regulation 52 will be met by demonstrating compliance with the values for sound insulation, reverberation time and indoor ambient noise which are given in Section 1 of Building Bulletin 93: Acoustic Design of Schools, produced by DfES and published by The Stationery Office (ISBN 9780112711056).
