Sound insulation testing for dwellings and residential rooms
Regulation 53 requirements are met for dwellings or residential rooms where sound insulation testing demonstrates achievement of the standards given in Table 1a and Table 1b.
It is the view of the Department that the requirements of regulation 53 will be met for a dwelling or room for residential purposes where sound insulation testing demonstrates that the sound insulation standards given in Table 1a and Table 1b in this Technical Booklet have been achieved.
