Protection against sound from other parts of the building and from adjoining buildings
Dwellings and rooms for residential purposes must be designed and constructed to provide reasonable resistance to the passage of sound from other parts of the same building and from adjoining buildings.
A dwelling or room for residential purposes shall be designed and constructed in such a way so as to provide reasonable resistance to the passage of sound from other parts of the same building outside the dwelling or room for residential purposes and from adjoining buildings.
