Definition: Cogeneration
Cogeneration is the simultaneous generation in one process of thermal energy and one or both of electrical or mechanical energy.
"Cogeneration" means simultaneous generation in one process of thermal energy and one or both of the following—
(a) electrical energy;
(b) mechanical energy;
