Defined Terms from EU Directive 2010/31/EU
This section identifies seven terms that have the same meaning as defined in European Parliament and Council Directive 2010/31/EU on the energy performance of buildings, including industrial sites, low energy demand, non-residential agricultural buildings, places of worship, religious activities, stand-alone buildings, and workshops.
In this Part, the following terms have the same meaning as in European Parliament and the Council Directive 2010/31/EU of 19 May 2010 on the energy performance of buildings (recast)—
(i) "industrial sites";
(ii) "low energy demand";
(iii) "non-residential agricultural buildings";
(iv) "places of worship";
(v) "religious activities";
(vi) "stand-alone"; and
(vii) "workshops".
