Fire-resisting construction standards
Elements of structure and building components requiring fire resistance may be constructed in accordance with BR 128:1988 Guidelines for the construction of fire-resisting structural elements.
Where an element of structure or other component of the building is required to have fire resistance it may be constructed in accordance with an appropriate specification in Part II of the Building Research Establishment Report – Guidelines for the construction of fire-resisting structural elements (BR 128: 1988).
