Kitchen as access room in dwellinghouses
Cooking facilities within a room containing a gallery must either be enclosed with fire-resisting construction or positioned remote from the stair to avoid prejudicing escape routes from the gallery.
any cooking facilities within the room containing the gallery should either –
(i) be enclosed with fire-resisting construction; or
(ii) be remote from the stair to the gallery and be positioned so that they do not prejudice the means of escape from the gallery.
