Wind exposure factor notes for building height assessment

Clarifications on how to determine site category for wind exposure, including treatment of town edge sites, inland water bodies, and allowance for interpolation within the maximum height table.

Notes: 1. Sites in town less than 300 m from the edge of town should be assumed to be in country terrain. 2. For sites closer than 1 km to an inland body of water which extends more than 1 km in the direction of the wind, the distance to the coast should be taken from the edge of that body of water. 3. The maximum allowable building heights may be interpolation within in this Table.
