Alternative structural provisions for single family houses and small buildings
For houses of not more than 3 storeys, annexes, or small single storey buildings, regulation 30 can be met by following recommendations in publications listed in paragraphs 2.21 to 2.24 as an alternative to general standards.
For a house of not more than 3 storeys in height, an annex or a small single storey building, an alternative way of meeting the requirement of regulation 30 in Part D is to follow the recommendations given in the publications listed in paragraphs 2.21 to 2.24.
