Supported Wall Definition

Defines a supported wall as one to which lateral support is provided by a combination of buttressing walls, piers or chimneys working together with floor(s) or roof.

Supported wall – a wall to which lateral support is afforded by a combination of buttressing walls, piers or chimneys acting in conjunction with floor(s) or roof.
