Council Responsibility for Community and Recreational Facilities
The Council is responsible for providing community centres, leisure centres, public parks, sports pitches and play areas, with existing provision focused on accessible locations within the Borough's main settlements, supplemented by school facilities and local sports clubs.
The Council for its part is responsible for a wide range of community and recreational facilities including community centres, leisure centres, public parks, sports pitches and play areas, with existing provision focussed on accessible locations within our Borough's main settlements. Playing pitch provision by the Council is supplemented by school facilities and local sports clubs.
