Interstitial condensation control in dwellings

Dwellings must be designed and constructed to protect against harmful effects from interstitial condensation in accordance with specified standards and technical guidance.

It is the view of the Department that the requirements of regulation 29 will be met if the floors, walls and roofs of a dwelling are designed and constructed to protect the dwelling from harmful effects caused by interstitial condensation.
