Ways of establishing fitness of materials

Multiple methods exist to assess the suitability of materials for specific purposes in building work, as outlined in paragraphs 2.3 to 2.10.

There are a number of ways in which the suitability of a material for use for a specific purpose may be assessed. The following are examples of ways which may be used for establishing this (see paragraphs 2.3 to 2.10).
