General Planning Assessment for Retail Development
All retail development and main town centre use applications must also be assessed against standard planning criteria covering transportation, access, design, environmental and amenity impacts.
In order to ensure high quality and otherwise satisfactory forms of development all applications for retail development or main town centre type uses will also be assessed in accordance with normal planning criteria including transportation and access arrangements, design, environmental and amenity impacts.
