Precedence of fluvial and coastal flood plain policy
Where a development is located within a fluvial or coastal flood plain, the policy on 'Development in River (Fluvial) and Coastal Flood Plains' takes precedence over surface water drainage requirements.
Where the proposed development is also located within a fluvial or coastal flood plain, then the policy above on 'Development in River (Fluvial) and Coastal Flood Plains' will take precedence.
