Flood Risk and Surface Water Drainage Requirements
Development in high flood risk areas must include adequate mitigation measures and ensure surface water drainage is properly addressed.
Exceptional development within high flood risk areas must make provision for adequate mitigation measures; Ensure surface water drainage is adequately addressed; and Planning policy should promote sustainable water and sewerage services by making appropriate space for water and sewerage infrastructure including sustainable drainage systems.
