Areas of Townscape Character - Development Management
Development within Areas of Townscape Character should only be permitted where it maintains or enhances the overall character of the area and respects its built form.
In managing development within ATCs designated through the LDPs process, the council should only permit new development where this will maintain or enhance the overall character of the area and respect its built form.
