Archaeological Sites of Local Importance - Development Assessment

Development affecting archaeological remains of local importance or their settings should only be permitted where the planning authority determines that the development need or other material considerations outweigh the value of the remains and their settings.

Development proposals which would adversely affect archaeological remains of local importance or their settings should only be permitted where the planning authority considers that the need for the proposed development or other material considerations outweigh the value of the remains and/or their settings.
