Planning authorities should take a positive approach to appropriate economic development proposals and proactively support and enable growth-generating activities, including large scale investment proposals with job creation potential.
A modern, efficient and effective planning system is essential to supporting the Executive, and wider government policy, in its efforts to promote long term economic growth in the interests of all the people in this region.
