Children's Play Area Exception Distance
An equipped children's play area does not need to be provided on-site if one already exists within reasonable walking distance (generally around 400 metres) of the majority of development units.
The Department will consider an exception to this requirement where an equipped children's play area exists within reasonable walking distance (generally around 400 metres) of the majority of the units within the development scheme.
