Design Concept Statement - Required Information
Residential design proposals must include an indicative layout showing building siting, transport, pedestrian and cycle routes, street layout, access and traffic calming; sketch building details; comprehensive open space and landscape structure with management proposals; and local neighbourhood facilities.
an indicative layout of the proposed scheme including for example the siting of buildings, existing and proposed public transport facilities, pedestrian and cycle routes, the layout of streets, access arrangements and traffic calming measures proposed; sketch details of the design of buildings; a comprehensive and readily understood structure to the open space and landscape elements of the scheme including proposals for subsequent management and maintenance; and the type and location of any necessary local neighbourhood facilities.
