Future approach - emphasis on building layout over road layout
Future developments will prioritize the layout of buildings over road layout to achieve improved design quality and community identity, while ensuring road safety. All buildings should be located to front onto roads and present an attractive outlook.
In future the Department will place more emphasis on the layout of houses and other buildings than on road layout in order to achieve an improved design quality and promote a sense of community, while continuing to ensure that standards of road safety are not compromised.
