Planning agreement for affordable housing provision
The Council may require developers to enter into a planning agreement under Section 76 of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 to secure affordable housing provision, and will issue supplementary planning guidance on implementation.
To secure the provision of affordable housing required under this policy, the Council may require developers to enter into a planning agreement under Section 76 of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011. The Council also intends to bring forward supplementary planning guidance to explain in greater detail how the affordable housing provision required under this policy will be implemented through the planning process.
