Application of Quality Initiative to new housing development
Developers must take a sensitive and responsive approach that identifies and makes positive use of site assets and surrounding characteristics to determine the form of development.
As regards the application of the Quality Initiative to new housing development, PPS 1 indicates that this will require: "a more sensitive and responsive approach by developers, one which identifies and makes positive use of the assets of a site and the characteristics of its surroundings to determine the ultimate form of development."
