Side Extensions and Refuse/Equipment Storage Routes
Extensions to the side of a property that would require refuse and garden equipment to be carried through the house or stored in the front garden will not normally be permitted, except where a route is maintained through the extension via a garage or utility room on the ground floor.
Extensions, particularly to the side of a residential property, whereby refuse and garden equipment will need to be carried through the house or stored in the front garden, will not normally be permitted. An exception may be made where a route can be maintained through the extension via a garage or utility room on the ground floor.
