Residential Extension Siting Relative to Boundaries
Single storey extensions require 600mm clearance from the midpoint of the common boundary, while two storey extensions require 450mm clearance from the midpoint. Adjoining development must be shown on the plan for proper assessment.
Single Storey: 600mm from mid point of common boundary on each side. Two Storey: 450mm from mid point of common boundary on each side. Adjoining development should be shown on plan for the proper assessment of the proposal.
