Parapets and Terminal Features
Essential terminal features of historic buildings such as parapets, pediments, gables, eaves, cornices and mouldings must be replaced in facsimile using the same materials if replacement is necessary.
Parapets (solid or balustraded), pediments, parapeted or coped gables and saddlestones, eaves, cornices and moulded cappings are essential terminal features in the articulation of an elevation of an historic building. If they have to be replaced, it should be in facsimile and in the same materials.
