Population diversity and housing choice
The Council recognises diverse population needs at different life stages and will facilitate adequate choice of quality housing in settlements to support balanced, cohesive communities.
The population within the Borough is a diverse one, with the changing needs of individuals and families at different stages of life. It is therefore important to facilitate an adequate and available choice of quality housing within settlements throughout the Borough to meet the needs of everyone and support the creation of more balanced communities, whilst strengthening community cohesion.
