Extensions in Conservation Areas
Extensions to properties in conservation areas must be subsidiary to the building, use appropriate materials, and be normally located on rear elevations. Alterations and extensions affecting roofs require very careful consideration as they may be detrimental to the character and appearance of the conservation area.
