Assessment of existing housing supply capacity
Evidence shows that committed housing supply already significantly exceeds the 9,750 dwellings required to meet housing needs between 2015 and 2030.
As set out in Evidence Paper 6: Housing, studies in relation to the ability of our existing settlements to supply housing units have been undertaken. This evidence suggests that the committed supply of housing is already significantly in excess of the 9,750 dwellings estimated by the Council to meet housing needs over the period 2015-2030.
