Quality and Sustainable Housing Standards
New housing developments must be designed sustainably to meet evolving resident needs and achieve high quality in accordance with placemaking and good design principles.
The Council will seek to ensure that new housing developments within the Borough are designed in a sustainable fashion and to meet the evolving needs of residents over their lifetimes, while encouraging the development of high quality homes in accordance with Policy SP 6: Placemaking and Good Design.
