Development Plans Purpose and Framework
Development plans set out how future development will be accommodated within the overarching strategic framework provided by the RDS, and aim to ensure an ample supply of suitable land for economic development needs while supporting job creation.
Development plans set out how future development will be accommodated during the plan period within the overarching strategic framework provided by the RDS.
Within this framework, development plans will aim to ensure that there is an ample supply of suitable land available to meet economic development needs within the plan area, and will seek to support job creation by identifying and protecting a portfolio of the most appropriate job creation opportunities.
