Anti-Poverty and Social Inclusion Strategy Objectives
The Government's Anti-Poverty and Social Inclusion Strategy aims to eliminate poverty and social exclusion by 2020, including ensuring disadvantaged groups have access to employment opportunities.
The Government's Anti-Poverty and Social Inclusion Strategy ('Lifetime Opportunities'), was published by the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister in 2006. It outlines a set of ambitious and challenging long-term goals and targets to work towards eliminating poverty and social exclusion in Northern Ireland by 2020. As part of this Strategy, it will be important to ensure that disadvantaged groups and communities are able to benefit from better access to employment opportunities.
