Transport integration with land use planning
Government transport strategy requires greater integration with land use planning to support sustainable transport choices and reduce the need to travel, with development sited where transport choice is available.
The Government's transport strategy for the Region is committed to greater integration of transport with land use planning in order to support more sustainable transport choices and reduce the need to travel. Northern Ireland transportation policy encourages development to be sited where there is a choice of transport and the location is not
