Parent and child parking spaces

For retail, leisure and community uses, developers should consider providing 'parent and child' parking spaces located to facilitate easy access to buildings, similar to spaces reserved for people with disabilities.

For retail, leisure and community uses consideration should be given by developers to the provision of 'parent and child' parking spaces. As with spaces reserved for people with disabilities these should be located in a manner, which facilitates ease of access to the buildings they serve.
