Access Statement for Existing Buildings
For existing buildings, particularly historic buildings, an Access Statement should identify constraints posed by the existing structure and explain how they have been overcome.
In the case of existing buildings, particularly historic buildings, such a statement would enable a designer / developer to identify the constraints posed by the existing structure and its immediate environment and to explain how these have been overcome.
