Disused Transport Routes
Development plans must identify and protect disused transport routes and associated facilities where there are proposals for re-use for transportation, recreation or leisure purposes, including strategically important routes with longer-term potential for future transport use.
Development plans will identify and protect disused transport routes, including any associated facilities, where proposals exist for their re-use for transportation, recreation or leisure purposes. The plan will also identify and protect disused routes of strategic importance highlighted in the transport study as offering potential in the longer term for future transport use.
