Policy Objectives
This Planning Policy Statement aims to provide flexibility for creative proposals that enable the maintenance, major repair, or conversion of significant places to viable uses, particularly where the public benefit exceeds market value.
The objective of this Planning Policy Statement is to provide the flexibility to accommodate unforeseen imaginative proposals for the maintenance, major repair or conversion to the viable use of a significant place where this is greater than its value to its owner or market value.
