Design requirements for conversion of traditional buildings
Good design is essential for all conversion proposals, with particular care needed to ensure that traditional buildings retain their character through the redevelopment scheme.
The Department would stress the importance of good design in all such cases and in particular care needs to be taken for proposals involving the conversion of traditional buildings to ensure that their character is not lost to the overall scheme of redevelopment.
