Replacement of non-residential countryside buildings

While reuse and sympathetic conversion of non-residential buildings is sustainable, replacement may occasionally be acceptable where it results in significant environmental benefits.

While Policy CTY 4 highlights that the reuse and sympathetic conversion of non-residential buildings can represent a sustainable approach to development in the countryside, it is however acknowledged that there may be occasions where the replacement of such buildings can result in significant environmental benefits.
