Habitat Regulations Assessment
Plan-making authorities must undertake an Appropriate Assessment for any development plan or proposal that is likely to significantly affect a European Site, either individually or in combination with other plans or projects.
Under the provisions of the Habitats Regulations25, plan-making authorities are required to undertake an Appropriate Assessment for any development plan (or development proposal) which either individually, or in combination with other plans or projects, is likely to significantly affect a European Site.
